If yes, then look no further – our Housing Operations team are recruiting a Money Advisor to provide vital support to our customers, helping them maximise their income and manage their money with confidence.

We own 34,000 quality homes for social and affordable rent across the Midlands, and one of our keys to success is ensuring our tenants feel secure in their homes. Your role as a Money Advisor will be to provide specialist advice and support to our customers on benefits, debt, and income maximisation.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting tenants in financial difficulty by offering debt management advice, negotiating with creditors, and assisting with legal remedies such as Debt Relief or Bankruptcy Orders.
  • Helping tenants maximise their income by developing tailored income support plans.
  • Advising and supporting colleagues on money advice matters to improve outcomes for tenants.
  • Producing reports and statistics to help monitor and improve the performance of the service.

Although this is primarily an office-based role, there will be some flexibility for home working in line with our Smart Working approach.
